Sea Ray, the world’s largest manufacturer of superior quality pleasure boats, is proud to introduce its latest design: the 235 Weekender®. This 23-foot pocket cruiser is remarkably comfortable and has the sleek, stylish looks of a sport boat. Plus, with a choice of three versatile options packages — the Mediterranean Cockpit Lounge Package, the Fishing Package
and the Overnighter Galley Package — the 235 Weekender can be tailored to suit each owner’s personal needs and tastes.
The standard model comes with a pair of UV-resistant bucket seats with flip-up, thigh-rise bolsters and a spacious cockpit with stern bench seat to give passengers a feeling of open-air freedom. The standard extended swim platform is a pure beauty, and the walk-thru windshield provides easy access to the foredeck and is fitted with a secure, stainless steel handrail. Custom Sea Ray cleats and a finished fiberglass floor add both durability and good looks. The comfortable cabin can be converted into a sleeping space. The seats cover the toilet to create more space within, and storage is available in the V-berth (as well as in the cockpit floor and side panels). This leaves more than enough space to get geared up for a fun-filled weekend with family and friends. Speaking of fun, the 235 Weekender® is propelled by a standard MerCruiser® 4.3L MPI Alpha® I sterndrive with power steering and power trim. For truly grin-worthy speeds, four additional engine options range up to V-8 propulsion. A diesel engine version will be available soon.
The unique options packages offered aboard the 235 Weekender contain special features to extend the
already superb equipment. The Mediterranean Cockpit Lounge Package, for example, adds an L-shaped
seat to starboard. Using the cockpit table, this lounge can be converted into a large sun pad. In addition,
owners and guests will enjoy expanded storage in the compartment below the plush cushions.
The Fishing Package incorporates useful fishing features such as two built-in tackle drawers, cockpit
coaming pads, a cutting board on top of the motor box, six rod holders in the gunnels and special
weather-resistant bucket seats with removable cushions. The Overnighter Galley Package is the ultimate
addition to turn the standard 235 Weekender® into an even greater weekend hangout. This package
comes with a built-in refrigerator (64L) and a cockpit galley with a sink, faucet and water tank, a separate
storage area and a single-burner cooker for delicious meals al fresco.
All summed up, the new 235 Weekender®, with or without one of the option packages, is designed to be
both functional and beautiful. It has the good looks of a sport boat combined with the comforts of a
cruiser, with a simple yet functional design and stylishness — ideal for creating unforgettable experiences on the water.
